Bradley Bayan, Esq.

Unhinged, ridiculous, and outrageous-- but colorful.

Bradley Bayan, Esq.

Following his unhinged, ridiculous, and outrageous presentation/performance in a two-day domestic violence trial, which folks in the gallery called shocking and unbelievable, I finally have had enough of this crazy attorney. Jesus H. Christ, that was the most insane and inappropriate behavior I've ever seen in a courtroom in my 19 years of practicing law. Because the State Bar apparently doesn't care about this, I'm turning to the court of public opinion and this is coming soon.

Meanwhile, check out the Court of Appeal opinion in his criminal case, which dealt with methamphetamine, criminal threats, and other matters. This does not surprise me at all. Among other key quotes: "Defendant told [Officer] Artiga he had been smoking methamphetamine and that although he had slept 10 hours the night before, he had been up for 36 hours before that. Defendant also told Artiga he had been using methamphetamines for nine years." That says it all.

Winners don't use drugs. As a corollary to that, I would add that pipe-hitting attorneys should not be allowed to practice law.

Back to Hall of Shame.
